"Tussle at the Bar"

A young woman in her late teens, named Sarah, walked into the bar. She was very desperate because her boyfriend  Zach broke up with her in the morning. Sarah came to a barman and asked for a shot.
He looked at her suspiciously and said, "How old are you, girl?". She kept silent. A woman in her early thirties suggested to pay and said that the girl was her friend, and ordered two Martini. The barman agreed, but still suspected that something was wrong. Sarah and the woman, named Lola, was siting at the bar stand. Sarah and Lola were talking a lot. During the conversation Sarah told her about her problems with boyfriend and what she felt about it. They were more just strangers, Sarah realized that she found her soulmate. Then a furious man appeared at the bar. He came to Lola and yelled, "What the hell are you doing here, whore?". Lola started to cry. Sarah told him to shut up. The man took out a knife and stuck it in Sarah`s belly. Then he grabed Lola`s arm and came out of the bar.When the barman came to Sarah, he realized she was dead.

      What a story! Did you enjoy writing it? What did you learn from this experience about your approach to writing ? Was the process of working on this task different in any way from how how you approach(ed) writing some other tasks you had while taking this course

Is owning a dog good for your health? The article “Is owning a dog good for your health?” written by Luisa Dillner is devoted to the discussion of the dogs '  impact on our health. First, the author draws the readers' attention to a Swedish  study of more than 3 million people between the ages of 40 and 80 which showed that owning a dog was associated with a 23% reduction in death from heart disease . Then she analyzes that the d og owners show better responses to stress , have higher levels of physical activity and slightly lower cholesterol levels.  She gives an example that having  a dog can be a substitute for living with other people in order to reduce the risk of dying .
