How to Stop People Being Rude?

Together with the development of science and technology we aspire to develop our society and become more intelligent. Humanity has made a huge progress in educational system as it has become available for everyone nowadays. Unfortunately, despite being well-educated people still cannot suppress their savage nature and sometimes forget about simple politeness. I would like to sort it out and suggest a solution to this problem.

First of all, the root of violence originates in the past, when people needed to be aggressive to fend for themselves and their family. However, the situation has certainly changed. Now people don’t have to be physically strong to do well in life and are able to choose the option. It means that aggression served as a survival instinct and can be eliminated over time within being unnecessary.

Secondly, according to the statistics unhappy people tend to be more rude. Eric Hoffer, an American moral and social philosopher, once said that rudeness is a weak man`s imitation of strength. Thus, rude people hide behind the mask of aggression to cover their unstable mental health. And in this case we should find the ways to get rid of the depression or think about psychologist`s help.

To sum up, rudeness and aggressiveness are the real problems of modern society which can be an obstacle to make this world better place. War is not the engine of progress anymore, it can only destroy us.
