A Reflection Note

In my view, the semester was very productive to me and all my groupmates, as we have learnt about new platforms and websites and improved our writing skills. The great thing about our course was that we were able to read each other`s essays and comments. It helped me a lot because I could see other`s mistakes in order not to make them in the future.

Moreover, in this course Natalia Urievna shared with us some tips about electronic writing. Now we know how to use the citation machine and URL shorteners. Thus, our summaries became more sophisticated and professional. The other thing which I found very useful is that we learnt a lot about different things while were writing the essays. Personally, I read several articles which helped me to improve my life. I shared the best ones in my blog and in the comments.

I expect the next semester to be as good and productive as this one.

    Thanks for your reflection and suggestions about the second semester. I'll take them into account. I was very pleased to learn that you found peer-editing useful. Hope you will continue with it in the second semester. Also, or in the first place, you mentioned a very important aspect of this course: builduing up your knowledge about a variety of different topics. It can also help you with varions aspects of the language from grammar to vocabulary and more. Good luck in the second semester! Hope it will be useful too!

Is owning a dog good for your health? The article “Is owning a dog good for your health?” written by Luisa Dillner is devoted to the discussion of the dogs '  impact on our health. First, the author draws the readers' attention to a Swedish  study of more than 3 million people between the ages of 40 and 80 which showed that owning a dog was associated with a 23% reduction in death from heart disease .
